Born and raised in Chicago, the city that shaped generations of dance-music legends, Blake Brady — better known as DJ Blake Blaze — brings a blend of Midwest musical roots and Florida nightlife flair to every performance. Now based in Tampa, he’s spent over two decades mastering the art of reading a crowd, seamlessly fusing house, tech house, hip-hop, and open-format energy into unforgettable sets.

In October 2024, Blake teamed up with longtime collaborator Chris “Chris Craze” DiRoma to launch Connected Events — an entertainment and production company built by performers for performers. Their vision: to raise the bar for modern event entertainment by merging elite DJ talent with top-tier production and show design.

From Chicago lounges to Miami rooftops, Blake has delivered the soundtrack for clubs, corporate galas, music festivals, sporting events, and exclusive private parties. His performances are defined by precision, passion, and pure energy — the same principles that drive Connected Events. With every drop, mix, and transition, DJ Blake Blaze connects people through sound, vibe, and experience.

Chris DiRoma, known globally as DJ Chris Craze, is one of the most dynamic and versatile DJs to emerge from Florida’s music scene. With roots dating back to the mid-1980s, Chris has mastered the art of mashups, acapella overlays, and genre-bending performance, blending everything from house and breaks to trance, hip-hop, and dance classics. His high-energy sets and magnetic stage presence have earned him residencies at elite venues—including the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, where he’s been a fixture since 2003—and countless appearances at festivals, luxury events, and private showcases.

Beyond the decks, Chris is also a renowned systems engineer and production designer, known for building world-class AV environments for clubs, festivals, and corporate venues. His ability to combine creative artistry with technical precision gives every Connected Events production its signature polish and reliability.

In October 2024, Chris co-founded Connected Events alongside fellow DJ and creative partner Blake Brady (a.k.a. DJ Blake Blaze). Together, they built a company where performance and production meet seamlessly—a platform for elite talent, cutting-edge technology, and unforgettable experiences.
